FTP - File Transfers: Alternatives to FTP programs?
If you don't want to use an FTP program to transfer your files to the server there are several alternatives:

1: Use your browser.
While this may not be supported by all browsers, more and more new browsers can work as FTP programs.
- Simply type in ftp://ftp.yourdomain.com/mainwebsite_html/ in your browser, and if it supports FTP you will be asked for the login details.
Enter admin#yourdomain.com as username
Enter the password and click OK (or Next, or Login)

2: Use your HTML editor.
Most HTML editors, such as "Microsoft Frontpage" and "Macromedia Dreamweaver" have options that will let you transfer files with FTP.
If you're using Frontpage you should make sure that Frontpage Extensions are enabled for your site (Look under "Site Information" in the control panel). If not, write us an email and request that we enable the extensions for your site. (They are not enabled by default, as they's cause limitations for non-Frontpage users)

3: Use the "FILE MANAGER" included in the Control Panel.
First you need to login to the panel:
- Login to your account at EchoEchoPlus.Com.
- Click "Site Owner Panel" in the right menu.
- Click "FILE MANAGER" in the left menu of the panel.

You can browse to folders by clicking the text next to the folder icon. (If you click the icon itself, you can set permissions for the folder).

Make sure to browse to the "/var/www/html/" folder to get to the main web folder with the file manager.
(Do not browse to "/home/admin/mainwebsite_html", as this is just a symbolic link to the real folder.)

4: Install a content management system (CMS) such as phpnuke, postnuke or similar free scripts.
They do not require HTML skills and most come with tools to transfer files.
